Creativity Motivation – What is motivation – Corey K Katir
Advertising From http://www.creativitymotivation.com Describes motivation process for creativity with emphasis on intrinsic motivation by Corey K Katir Mac Miller Makes It The Best Day Ever At Bamboozle
From feedproxy.google
‘I’m just tryin’ to bring a show, man,’ Mac told MTV News just before his high-energy set at Friday’s festival kickoff.
ASBURY PARK, New Jersey — There’s only so much partying on Fifth Ave. that a man can do, so on Friday night, Mac Miller hit the Jersey Shore and threw an old-fashioned beach party.
“I’m just tryin’ to bring a show, man. I want to bring a performance, I want to bring them into the Macadelic experience,” Mac told MTV News hours before he took the stage at the Bamboozle music festival in New Jersey.
Skrillex, Mike Posner, Incubus and Miller all took to Bamboozle’s main stage on the opening night of the three-day fest, and they didn’t disappoint. For Mac’s set, which began at 7 p.m. ET, the Pittsburgh MC brought a portion of his Macadelic Tour to concertgoers who had come to see an array of rock, rap and EDM artists.
It was all high-energy when Miller, who was dressed in an “RIP MCA” tee, set things off with the title track from his #1 debut album, Blue Slide Park. From there, EZ Mac launched into “Don’t Mind If I Do” from his 2010 breakout tape, K.I.D.S. Always one to represent for his crew, Miller, his DJ, Clockwork, and hypeman Treejay bounced up and down to “My Team,” and then turned things up a notch with the rambunctious “Knock Knock,” all to the youthful crowd’s delight.
While a majority of the Rostrum rapper’s catalog is centered on feel-good jams, he does show range on introspective cuts like “Angels (When She Shuts Her Eyes).” Even when he wasn’t ping-ponging frantically across the stage, the crowd responded to Miller’s more subdued tracks by waving their hands side to side, showing him that they too are capable of more than just getting crunk.
Before he dove into “Best Day Ever,” Mac took a bit of a breather while old Miller family home movies played on a big screen. All the teenage girls cooed as they watched baby Mac open birthday presents and sing along to the Sugar Hill Gang’s seminal hip-hop track “Rapper’s Delight.”
“I wanted to represent the music through visuals, I’ve always been a very visual person,” he explained to us before the show. “I wanted to use that to create the aesthetics of the show and show people what all of the songs mean to me and put them into that world.”
Miller picked up the mood with the electric “Frick Park Market” and drew immediate crowd participation with the first line. After spitting, “My name Mac Miller,” the crowd responded right on time with a thunderous, “Who the f— are you?”
It was a lesson on how to properly connect with your audience, one that’s invested in every word you rhyme. Last year when Miller dropped his now-gold-selling single “Donald Trump,” he promised to “take over the world,” and despite all of his success he still makes that vow at the end of each and every show. Last night was no different. After a 40-minute set, Mac sealed the deal with a spirited rendition of “Trump” and then marched off to continue to make good on his promise, one stage at a time.

Jack White Rocks Hangout Fest, Avoids Getting A Tan
From feedproxy.google
Headliner White closed out the first day of the beachfront festival in Alabama with a set long on hits, solos.
GULF SHORES, Alabama — Judging by his cadaverous complexion, Jack White probably doesn’t make it out to the beach all that often. Which is probably why his Friday night set at the Hangout Festival felt less like a headlining gig and more like one long (long) victory lap: He was determined to enjoy the experience.
Sure, White took the stage long after the sun had set over the stretch of white-sand beach the Hangout calls home (it’s definitely the only fest where going barefoot is not only a viable option, but practically encouraged), but spurred on by the cheers of a raucous crowd and cooled by the gentle breeze of the Gulf, he tore through a wild 90-minute set. It was one that dove deep into his back catalog — featuring not only White’s new Blunderbuss tunes, but also songs from the White Stripes, the Dead Weather, the Raconteurs and the Danger Mouse-helmed Rome project too — and saw him break out roughly 100 fret-assaulting guitar solos, two backing bands … and exactly one fedora.
He spoke barely a word (and nary a metaphor) during his time onstage, preferring instead to let the music do the talking. Or, more precisely, the yelling. Because from the moment he kicked things off with a high-octane version of the Stripes’ “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground,” to the second the final echoes of “Seven Nation Army” were escaping out into the night air, White was plenty loud. And equally loose. “I Cut Like a Buffalo,” “Love Interruption” and (especially) “Ball and Biscuit” each unspooled over several minutes, with White stomping and pulling solos from his guitar, goofy smile on his face, while both of his crack backing bands followed close behind. It was clear that, on Friday night, White wanted to jam.
Which is why, in just about every conceivable way, this wasn’t the kind of show you’d expect from the normally uptight White. Of course, he was still dressed like a country mortician and, sure, he made his backing bands dress in near-matching unis (black for his male band, the Buzzards; white for the female counterpart, the Peacocks), and the lighting scheme onstage never strayed from “ethereal blue,” but he seemed to draw genuine joy from letting his songs breathe: He turned “Hotel Yorba” into a hoedown, lent extra punch to new tracks like “Sixteen Saltines” and “Hypocritical Kiss” and led the audience in an extended chant during “Army,” which has almost inexplicably become his signature song on both sides of the Atlantic.
Maybe it had something to do with the Gulf Stream, the postcard-perfect setting of the Hangout Fest (they have palm trees on the beach!) and the day of terrific music he was closing out — Friday also featured standout sets from Wilco, Alabama Shakes and Yelawolf, to name just a few — or maybe White just wanted to cut loose. But last night, his solos rang loud and proud, his voice was voluminous and creaky in all the right ways, and both of his bands proved worthy traveling partners on the lengthy musical excursions on which he led them.
In short, White certainly seems to be enjoying life as a solo artist. Especially when he’s playing the songs he made with others. Now, if he could only work on that tan … you get the feeling he’d become a regular down here at the Hangout.

50 Cent And Wiz Khalifa Collaboration: ‘Stay Tuned’
From feedproxy.google
‘I responded to him and I told him, ‘Let’s work,’ ‘ Fif tells MTV News of a Twitter collabo request from Wiz.
50 Cent was admitted to the hospital earlier this week when he began to suffer from severe stomach pains, but by the time he was released Thursday, the G-Unit CEO had already put plans into motion for a new collaboration with Wiz Khalifa.
MTV News caught up with Fif at his G-Unit offices in NYC after his release, and he explained that a tweet from Wiz gave birth to the collaboration. The tweet in question: “I Gotta Song I Wanna Put @50Cent On.”
“While I was sitting in the hospital, I saw Wiz Khalifa send a tweet out saying he got something, and he felt like it would be cool if I was actually on a record with him,” 50 said. “So I responded to him and I told him, ‘Let’s work.’ I’m feeling good, I was feeling better by the time that tweet went through, so I said, ‘Send it,’ and I’ll speak to him a little later on.
“Stay tuned to hear what happens next because it’s gonna go down,” he added, confirming that the collaboration is for real. Fif’s guest verse is likely to pop up on the Taylor Gang MC’s upcoming LP O.N.I.F.C., which is set to debut August 28. It would mark their first collaboration together. Thus far, Wiz has revealed that features on his Rolling Papers follow-up will include Pharrell, Cam’ron, Curren$y and the Weeknd.
50 Cent has made a full recovery since his release from the hospital, and next Tuesday, he will drop The Lost Tape, hosted by DJ Drama.
During his stay in the hospital, the Queens mogul received a phone call from longtime friend and collaborator Eminem, who had a few firm words for him. “He goes, ‘Yo, Fif, you were shot nine times, man, if you die over a burger, this sh– ain’t gonna go right,’ ” 50 told MTV News just hours after his release. ” ‘People ain’t gonna be feelin’ this.’ ”
Stay tuned to MTV News’ Mixtape Daily for more on 50 Cent and DJ Drama’s The Lost Tape.

Carly Rae Jepsen Thinks ‘Call Me Maybe’ Viral Videos Are ‘Rad’
From feedproxy.google
‘It makes my day to see it,’ Jepsen tells MTV News about clips by everyone from Justin Bieber to the Harvard baseball team.
It’s been just a few months since Justin Bieber signed Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen to his Schoolboy Records, but since then, she has certainly made her mark on the music scene. Her infectious hit single “Call Me Maybe” is currently #1 on the iTunes songs chart and #4 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart and has spawned a barrage of humorous and entertaining online video parodies that have captured the attention of not only fans but Jepsen herself.
“I have seen a few. It’s pretty rad that people are participating and making their own versions. It makes my day to see it,” Jepsen told MTV News. “It’s hard to imagine this, even though I’m living this every day, it’s kind of hard to believe it sometimes. [I] definitely didn’t predict this.”
The online lip-synching parodies seem to be the latest craze, especially among college students. Sports teams from Duke, UConn, Syracuse and Southern Methodist University have all posted their own versions of the song, but it was taken to another level when the Harvard baseball team choreographed an intricate fist-pump dance while singing along to the single.
“I saw the fist pump, it was so cute. It was funny because every chorus, they added a new element. I was like, they really planned this out, this is so fantastic,” Jepsen said of the Harvard video. “It’s so cool that it’s sort of sparked this online thing. It’s really neat.”
College students aren’t the only ones obsessing over this song. Actor James Franco posted his own version of the song , and just last month, Katy Perry uploaded her own parody, featuring herself and a group of friends at a Coachella pool party.
“I was in London at the time I saw Katy’s version of ‘Call Me Maybe.’ I think she was at Coachella when she shot it, which was really cool,” Jepsen said. “It was another surreal moment: Being in London was already crazy and then on top of it, to kind of see all the stars were reaching out and doing their versions as well, it was kind of like a cherry on top of the whole thing.”
We may have to thank Bieber for all of these videos since he is the one that started the trend. Back in February, Bieber, along with his girlfriend Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and Big Time Rush, created his own music video, playfully singing along to the inescapable track.
“I have a long list of thank-yous that I owe to Justin for everything to do with my career,” Jepsen said. “He’s just kind of opened the door to the rest of the world to me.”

Kanye West Had To ‘Get Used To’ Big Kardashian Family
From feedproxy.google
‘With Kanye I was like, ‘Why are you hiding in our pantry in my mom’s kitchen?’ Khloe jokes about sister Kim’s BF.
Kanye West may seem like he’s already one of the Kardashians, but turns out it took him a minute to warm up to them. According to her sister Khloé, Kim’s beau initially experienced some shell shock when hanging with reality TV’s first family.
“He said, ‘I’m an only child; there’s, like, so many of you,’ ” Khloé recalled in a chat with Ryan Seacrest on Friday (May 18).
Fans will get to see Kanye warming up to the Kardashian crew themselves when E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” returns for another season on Sunday. But Khloé told Seacrest her husband, Lamar Odom, had similar trouble getting used to her very large family.
“I remember Lamar, at first it took him a minute to get used to us, but now Lamar loves it,” she said. “With Kanye I was like, ‘Why are you hiding in our pantry in my mom’s kitchen?’ And he’s like, ‘There’s just so many of you guys, and you guys are all so loud and friendly and talk.” And I’m like, ‘Get used to it buddy, because I like it.’ It’s just a lot at one time.”
Being an only child like Yeezy is added to his initial discomfort, but he isn’t the lone only child the Kardashians have welcomed.
“[My boyfriend] Scott [Disick] and Lamar are only children too,” Kourtney shared. “I think we attract only children. I don’t think [Kanye] knows what’s going on [when he hangs out with us]. Like, what we’re talking about, are we being serious? Is this a joke?”
The initial shock of the Kardashians seems to have worn off, though. Usmagazine.com spotted Kanye hanging out with Kim and her family at Kourtney’s May 12 baby shower. In one snapshot, a smiling Kanye sits next to Kim, who’s playing with her nephew and Kourtney’s son, Mason.
Khloé’s hubby, Lamar, has also apparently bonded with Yeezy. The pro baller even seems to have his sights set on the music industry. “Lamar raps to [Kanye] all the time. Kim is like, ‘You’re going to freak this guy out,’ ” Khloé said. “But it’s funny.”

will.i.am ‘Still Has That Fire’ On ‘This Is Love,’ Eva Simons Says
From feedproxy.google
Dutch singer also teases the song’s ‘mad’ video to MTV News.
For his song “This Is Love,” will.i.am enlisted Dutch singer Eva Simons to add some powerhouse vocals to the raging party track. The searing dance production is highlighted by Simons’ diva-tude as her voice soars over will’s creation, full of big chants, bumping beats and dirty synths.
Simons had already proved she had hook potential appearing on Afrojack’s 2010 dance-floor anthem “Take Over Control,” and given will’s history of enlisting female pop singers to add a bit of sexy flair to his songs, Simons was a perfect muse to help shape his latest dance-pop track.
“He is super creative, and we kind of have the same energy: We can’t sit still. We were in the studio, and he had this track,” Simons recalled to MTV News about working with the Black Eyed Peas mastermind. “And he’s like, ‘Yo, Eva, would you like to do this song with me?’ And we had been recording a couple tracks before, so he knows what I’m capable of and he trusts me, and we don’t really know each other for that long, but he trusts me.
“I recorded it,” she continued. “And he mixes it straight away from his laptop … and it’s done. That’s so beautiful — not only is he super creative and knows what he wants, but he also sees when other people are creative as well. He’s not afraid to collaborate.”
This particular collaboration also included Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello. “It’s really a club-banger,” Simons said, adding that will included “some piano intro in there and violins. … He’s always creative. It doesn’t [just] work for the clubs, it works for the radio, it’ll also work on a big festival, like him on the piano, some strings, some live drums.”
will and Simons recently shot a video for the track, and she had this tease for fans when asked to give some hints: “Fireworks. Just like, ‘What world is this? Like, where are we?’ and ‘What season is this?’ ” she said. “It’s mad. It’s pretty awesome.”
Much of that awesomeness, she adds, stems from will directing the clip himself. “I’m just surprised. I’m not surprised, actually, ’cause that’s him,” she said. “He is also a super-geek. I’m a super-geek. I love technology, and he was like, he was directing the video and he was doing the motion-control of the camera and everything. He knows his stuff. It was pretty awesome to see.”
Simons continued that it was refreshing to see that even with all his years in the industry, he still loves to do it. “I just admire him,” she said. “After all those years he still has that fire, and that’s just beautiful. But I feel like — ’cause I was big fan of the Black Eyed Peas, and I still am — and he seems like he’s the same guy still that I see before.”
Their song is expected to appear on will’s long-teased solo album, #willpower, which also features Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Mick Jagger and Nicole Scherzinger. No release date has been set for the album. Related Artists
Bono’s Billion-Dollar Facebook IPO Haul: By The Numbers
From feedproxy.google
You could buy nearly seven million pair of Bulgari Bono sunglasses with the cash.
U2 singer Bono was already an obscenely wealthy man before Friday’s (May 18) Facebook IPO
. But thanks to the 2.3 percent stake in the social networking site held by his Elevation Partners investment group (it is unknown how much of the Facebook take is directly held by Bono) it was reported that his nest egg could grow exponentially when Friday’s first day of trading on the company’s stock is over.
The total haul? More than $1.5 billion
, which is not bad for a day’s work.
If those figures are true, he may become the richest rock star on Earth, sitting on a massive pile of green that could allow a man who already had the world at his fingertips to push into a rarified stratosphere that’s the envy of the many one-percenters he already counts as friends. According to Rolling Stone the singer, who cannot sell all his shares at once, has pledged to use much of the money raised from his investments to aid charity work in Africa.
Bono addressed the rumors of his (alleged) impending money bomb while speaking to MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Friday morning. “Contrary to reports, I’m not a billionaire or going to be richer than any Beatle — and not just in the sense of money, by the way; the Beatles are untouchable — those billionaire reports are a joke,” he said. “In Elevation, we invest other people’s money — endowments, pension funds. We do get paid, of course. But, you know, I felt rich when I was 20 years old and my wife was paying my bills. Just being in a band, I’ve always felt blessed. I got interested in technology because I’m an artist, I’m interested in the forces that shape the world, politics, religion, the stuff we’ve been talking about today. Technology is huge, I wanted to learn about it. People might say that’s odd, but I think it’s odd if artists aren’t interested in the world around them. I’m always chasing that. Facebook are an amazing team, a brilliant team. It’s a technology that brings people together.”
But if one person were to obtain that windfall, what could $1.5 billion buy you? We broke it down, by-the-numbers:
6.9 million Famous for his signature Bulgari shades, if Bono were to get his hands on the full stash, he could hit the Amazon.com marketplace and get nearly seven million pair for cheap at $215.77 a piece.
12.5 The giant claw stage that U2 schlepped around the world for their record-setting 360 Tour was insanely expensive. With each of the three structures they built coming in at $40 million a piece, Bono could build nine more with the Facebook loot.
300,000 Speaking U2 tours, on their famous 1992 Zoo TV outing, one of the highlights were the blinged-out Trabant cars that were hung from the lighting rigs. The famously low-budget East German cars were never expensive, but if Bono were ever thinking of expanding his car collection, he could snatch up more than 300,000 1989 models for the money.
39.4 million: In the recent documentary, “From the Sky Down,” U2 basically admitted that they’d gotten a bit full of themselves by the time their 1988 ode to Americana, Rattle and Hum, was released. If Bono is feeling especially embarrassed about all the cowboy hats and blues discovery of that era, he could try to wipe out some trace of it by buying nearly 40 million Blu-Ray copies of the DVD from Amazon. Raven-Symone: ‘My Sexual Orientation Is Mine’
From feedproxy.google
‘I’m living my PERSONAL life the way I’m happiest,’ actress tweets in response to a tabloid report she is gay.
Raven-Symoné has taken to Twitter to address a National Enquirer report that she is gay. The tabloid published a story this week that the “Sister Act” star is currently dating “America’s Next Top Model” contestant, AzMarie Livingston, and that they are living together in New York City.
According to sources, “Raven has lost almost 30 pounds, has done a whole image makeover, and now she is the star of ‘Sister Act’ on Broadway. She’s at a point now where she doesn’t care what her family thinks, and she’s in love with AzMarie. She’s a lesbian and wants to live that way.”
The tabloid further reports that the 26-year-old’s family does not approve of her lifestyle, however, “she told her parents she loves them, but her home — especially her bedroom — is nobody’s business, and she was not going to back down, so they needed to accept it, period.”
While Raven-Symoné neither confirmed nor denied the speculation on Friday, when she took to Twitter to open up about the rumor, she did make it clear that whatever she does in her personal life is her business.
“I’m living my PERSONAL life the way I’m happiest,” she tweeted. “I’m not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I’m dating. and I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m datings to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life.”
She continued that “however that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I’m not harming anyone. I am a light being made from love. And my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses!”
Eminem Warns 50 Cent Not To Die Over A Hamburger
From feedproxy.google
Fif tells MTV News he’s ‘in good spirits’ despite nearly having to go into surgery to remove blockage in his small intestine.
Nine gun shots wasn’t enough to take out 50 Cent, but a bad hamburger could have been the undoing of rap’s #1 bad guy. The G-Unit general was hospitalized this week with stomach pains, but a phone call from his homey Eminem surely lightened the mood.
“I’m in a dead serious moment like, ‘Damn, I don’t believe this is happenin’ right now,’ ” Fif said recalling the moments before Slim Shady phoned him. “He goes, ‘Yo Fif, you were shot nine times man if you die over a burger, this sh– ain’t gonna go right. People ain’t gonna be feelin’ this.’ ”
On Wednesday, Fif tweeted a picture of himself in a hospital bed and sent a public message to his boxing friend Floyd Mayweather that read: “I don’t want to go into surgery.”
Lucky for him, he didn’t have to. When MTV News checked up on 50 at his NYC G-Unit office on Thursday, just hours after he was released from the hospital, he said he was able to avoid going into surgery to remove blockage in his small intestine.
“I’m feelin’ better; I’m in good spirits,” Fif added.
DJ Drama, who is in New York to promote his upcoming mixtape with 50, The Lost Tape, told MTV News he was worried about his boy. To lift the gangsta rapper’s spirits Drama sent three stuffed animals to 50: a giraffe, an elephant and a lion.
They say it’s the thought that counts, but Drama’s get-well gifts didn’t go over so well. “That wasn’t cool. That’s all you get,” 50 told Drama jokingly while our cameras rolled. “You get 15 tracks, you damn near have to die to do a Gangsta Grillz and this is the thanks I get?”

Far East Movement Drop ‘Unexpected’ Track With Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz
From feedproxy.google
‘If I Die Tomorrow,’ off FM’s May 22 release, Dirty Bass, is ‘a song about losing yourself.’
Ever wondered what it would sound like if the Far East Movement enlisted Tokio Hotel’s glammy, gothy lead singer Bill Kaulitz for a track? Well, wonder no more, because now we have “If I Die Tomorrow.”
The collaboration, which dropped Friday (May 18), leans more on FM’s love for partying than Kaulitz’s love for rocking. While FM rap all about bumping trunks, killing bottles and going crazy in the club, Kaulitz, in full auto-tuned, falsetto mode, proclaims, “If I die tomorrow, that means we had the night of our lives/ If tomorrow never comes, then tonight we lose control.”
“If I Die Tomorrow” is off FM’s new album, Dirty Bass, out May 22. When MTV News caught up with Far East Movement recently, Kev Nish told us that fans will see plenty of “unexpected collaborations” like this on the upcoming album.
“When we first signed to Cherrytree [Records], we went on the website and see who’s on the roster … and we saw Tokio Hotel, and we were like ‘Yo, this band is wild,’ ” Nish said of working with the Musical March Madness winner and Tokio Hotel’s leading man. “We were on a bus watching them on the MTV Europe Awards, winning, and we were like, ‘We need to do a song with those dudes.’
“So we got in with Bill Kaulitz and we just wanted to do a song about losing yourself, about possibly losing your mind, because you might die the next day,” he added.
The album also features Justin Bieber on the song “Live My Life.” The same day the album drops, the group also kicks off their tour with the kings of party rocking, LMFAO.

DJ Khaled’s ‘Take It To The Head’ Video Is A Blockbuster
From feedproxy.google
For video, premiering Sunday on MTV Jams, ‘We got nothin’ but megastars,’ Khaled tells MTV News.
Blockbuster songs deserve blockbuster video treatments, and DJ Khaled made sure his new single, “Take It to the Head,” had a big visual to match. When your track features Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross, there isn’t much choice.
“I told [director] Colin [Tilley] when I called him, ‘We gotta video, we gotta do the best video, we gotta win awards, and you gotta really take it there because we got nothin’ but megastars on one record,” DJ Khaled told MTV News’ Sway Calloway from the Universal Studios set where he shot the video at the end of April.
Last summer, Khaled hosted “I’m on One,” an inescapable rap jam that partnered Lil Wayne, Drake and Rick Ross for the first time. It seemed that the #1 Billboard rap single would be hard to top, but with Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown on “Take it to the Head,” the Cash Money DJ is making a serious run for hip-hop’s 2012 summer anthem. The stakes are high, and the video, which premieres Sunday on MTV Jams, is equally as huge.
The video set is reminiscent of the 1974 disaster film “Earthquake,” where most of Los Angeles is destroyed by a quake that registers 9.9 on the Richter scale. “Colin Tilley is an amazing director, so he had this amazing idea where he wanted fire behind us, trains broken, ground shaking,” Khaled described. “We’re giving you new stuff.” Related Artists

Kanye West doesn’t know how to do small, so whenever the rapper unveils a new project it’s almost always on the biggest platform possible. That explains why his new “short art film,” “Cruel Summer,” will debut on the fabulous Palm Beach in Cannes, France during the Cannes Film Festival.
The hush-hush movie, inspired by the upcoming all-star G.O.O.D. Music album
of the same name, will world premiere on May 23 and remain open to the public for two days afterward. It is being screened out of competition in Cannes amid the world-famous film fest.
And, this being Kanye, the project is described as, “a fusion of short film and art installation … an immersive ’7 screen experience’ for the eyes and ears unlike anything West has attempted before.” Among those listed as starring in the film are comedian Aziz Ansari, Kid Cudi, Lebanese actress Razane Jammal (“Djinn”) and Palestinian actor Ali Suliman (“The Kingdom”). Yeezy is listed as the producer, writer and director of the effort, based on a screenplay by Elon Rutberg, who was the associate director of the Throne’s “N—-s in Paris” video. The co-director is Alexandre Moors, who worked with West on “Runaway” as well as the “Paris” clip.
Kanye and Cudi were spotted filming scenes for the movie
earlier this year in the middle eastern nation of Qatar, but little or no information has emerged about the subject matter or plot of the project. Expectations are high given the over-the-top look and feel of ‘Ye’s last mini-flick, 2010′s “Runaway.” Click here for ticket information for the screenings.

Justin Bieber Helps Usher ‘Relive’ Teen Years
From www.mtv
‘The first reaction is like no other,’ Usher says on ‘MTV First’ about witnessing Bieber’s ascent to fame.
Back in 1994, a teenaged Usher dropped his self-titled debut album and skyrocketed to fame. Nearly 20 years later, Usher is still on top, having lost little career momentum. While he’s maintained his own career over the years, he also helped launch Justin Bieber to mega-fame as well.
As Bieber continues to grow as an artist, Usher explained that the 18-year-old has built up the kinds of friendships and relationships that he would have wanted as a kid star. “Cool part about it is, he’s really able to live a dream that I think most teenagers would want to. To be able to have friends like Mayweather. They are actual friends, hang out, talk,” Usher told MTV News during “MTV First” about Bieber’s friendship with boxer Floyd Mayweather, who he recently hung out with in Las Vegas. “It’s really cool to be able to have friends all around the world and people that can relate to your reality.
“I don’t think Michael [Jackson] had people like that,” he continued. “I didn’t have a ton of people like that. I had Puff. I had JD [producer Jermaine Dupri] … but to be able to have friends all around the world that keep you, it’s cool.”
Their friendship was on full display recently when Usher performed in “Fuerza Bruta” back in April in New York City. Bieber dropped by to catch him getting his theater kid on, and midway through the show, the twosome battled it out on the dance floor.
“I was like, ‘Come on, I got you. Just chill out.’ Set it up,” he recalled about tricking the sleepy globe-trotting star to hang with him at the show. “[We] brought him to the middle of the dance floor, and we got it in. But we always show support for each other like that. We was housing a little bit.”
The guys will soon go head to head on the Billboard charts: Usher is set to drop his album, Looking 4 Myself, on June 12, and one week later, Bieber will release Believe. While it’ll be interesting to see those two fight it out on the charts, what’s more interesting for Usher is watching Bieber go through the same stuff he went through as a teen heartthrob.
“I relive every bit of it, from the screaming fans and the first reactions, shutting down the malls. The first reaction is like no other. To be able to be there, to be there with him and go through those emotions and see that shock for the first time [is exciting],” he said.Related Videos

Justin Bieber: ‘I Can’t Not Dance Battle Usher’
From www.mtv
Bieber’s mentor and dance-off foe will debut his new track ‘Twisted’ on ‘MTV First: Usher,’ airing tonight at 7:54 p.m. on MTV.
Justin Bieber and his mentor, Usher, believe it or not, have engaged in a dance-off or two. While Bieber is certainly known for his ability to cut a rug, he noted that his pal has the smoother of the dance moves.
“Dance-offs? We had one the other night. He did this little show in New York,” Bieber explained to MTV News earlier this month about facing off against Usher during his stint in the off-Broadway “Fuerza Bruta” in April. “Mid-show, he comes in the middle of the dance floor and does a dance battle with me. And I’m like ‘I’m too tired for this.’ He pulls out moves and I can’t not dance battle Usher.
“So I go in there, do my whole thing,” he recalled. “I’m pretty sure I lost, but it’s all good.”
When they aren’t battling it out on the dance floor, it seems Usher is offering up some sage advice to the 18-year-old singer. “He’s just given me the advice of ‘Always keep the people that were there in the beginning, keep them with you because those are the people that really care. They want to see you succeed,’ ” he said. “I think that’s probably pretty much the main thing he’s always told me.”
Usher has even more to share about working with his superstar mentee. He will open up during “MTV First: Usher,” set to take place tonight at 7:54 p.m. ET on MTV. He will introduce exclusive footage from “Fuerza Bruta” and his new single, the Pharrell-produced “Twisted,” and will stick around for an interview with MTV News’ Sway Calloway to discuss it all, including his new June release, Looking 4 Myself, on MTV.com afterward. Fans can submit questions via MTV.com or Twitter @MTVNews with the hashtag #MTVFirst or #AskUsher.
Don’t miss “MTV First: Usher” tonight at 7:54 p.m. ET on MTV, followed by an interview with the singer on MTV.com!Related Videos

‘You know, you can’t trust anyone in this business,’ pop star tells GQ.
It’s not always easy being Justin Bieber. At least that’s what the latest profile about the teen superstar in GQ suggests. While Bieber does open up a bit about his personal life, he remains mostly guarded, sharing very little about what goes on when the cameras aren’t rolling or he’s not in the recording studio.
“I mean, I keep my guard up a lot, because you know, you can’t trust anyone in this business,” Bieber says in the June issue of the magazine. “That’s what’s sad. You can’t trust anybody. I learned the hard way.”
The article notes that Bieber seems to mostly go from his house to his car to the studio, with little time for spontaneity. While he remained tight-lipped in the interview, he confesses that he does on occasion let his guard down. But even then, he tries to never let anything get out of hand. “For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself,” he said. “I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before. … But I never get out of control.”
Bieber seemed most relaxed during the interview when his pricey new car, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, is sent to him at the studio. With his friends, handlers and associates on hand, he proclaims to everyone that they should head into the studio with him and celebrate by listening to some of his new music. “I’m 18 years old and I’m a swaggy adult!” he says. “Come on, swaggy bros!”
That swagger is noted later on in the article when Bieber says, “I’ve never made a bad song.”
Another candid Bieber moment comes later on. When hanging in the studio after working on a track for Believe, which drops next month, one of his pals bashes his onetime crush Kim Kardashian, and he quickly comes to her defense, saying, “People say she doesn’t do anything; she actually does do stuff. … She works hard.”
When MTV News sat down with Bieber to premiere his “Boyfriend” video recently, he told us that he always tries to be the best he can be. “I think it’s about getting better at everything and never stopping. You can be the best but you can never stop growing,” he shared, before noting that he always enters interviews fully aware that anything he says could be taken out of context.
“Right now, I have to think two seconds in advance, like, ‘What am I gonna say?’ But I try my best to moderate what I’m gonna say, to say it so I don’t make any mistakes,” he admitted. “So people aren’t, like, twisting my words.”Related Videos

Rapper tells MTV News about being at Mayweather’s match against Miguel Cotto with the Biebs and Lil Wayne.
Everyone loves a champion, and currently there is no bigger boxing champ than Floyd “Money” Mayweather. Not only did the outspoken pugilist attract a record number of pay-per-view fans for his May 5 match against Miguel Cotto, he also brought music’s brightest stars to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on fight night. Of course 50 Cent was on hand to cheer on his buddy Floyd, and Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne made their way to the ring as well.
Many fight fans were surprised to see that the Biebs had been in Mayweather’s dressing room for the fight preparations; after that, JB walked with the undefeated Floyd to the ring, helping to hold the champ’s belts.
“Justin is also a Floyd fan. They love the sport. A lot of people like it and haven’t actually made contact or received anything to make them feel like it was cool or comfortable enough for them to come,” 50 said about JB’s much-discussed ring walk. “When it actually happens and it goes down like that, it feels good. When they get a chance to see different genres, different people, everybody’s excited.”
One of the more excited fans was Floyd’s daughter Iyanna, who, according to 50, was fixated on the teenage idol. “Floyd’s daughter, Yaya, she saw half the fight, the other half she was looking at Bieber,” the rapper joked. “He just got that thing for the younger generation, too — he’s it.”
Some were also surprised to see Lil Wayne in the ring. In the past, he and 50 haven’t been the best of friends, so many assumed that Floyd would inherit Fif’s perceived rap beefs, but that isn’t the case. In fact, Mayweather is a Weezy fan; he listens to his music constantly while training.
“Floyd has a huge passion for music that people don’t know about,” 50 explained. “It’s a big part of what makes him comfortable and takes his mind off of how hard he has to work to stay being the #1 fighter in the world. With Wayne’s music momentum, he’s a part of that; he’s been a part of the playlist, so it’s cool.”
After Floyd dusted off Cotto in a unanimous decision, he, Bieber, Weezy and 50 all celebrated in the ring and even posed for a few pictures. Though Fif sported his patented menacing scowl, he insists that there was no problem whatsoever. “The pictures, when I’m not paying attention, they take some really weird facial expressions of me,” he said. “I’m like, ‘What the f— was I thinking at that point?’ It’s nothing there to make me feel uncomfortable.”

The Wanted Tease ‘Daring’ Surprises On Next Album
From www.mtv
Jay McGuiness tells MTV News they plan to redefine the boy band on the follow-up to 2011′s Battleground.
The Wanted may be “Chasing the Sun” on the charts with their recently released U.S. debut EP, but the British boy banders aren’t taking any breaks. Hot on the heels of the release, they are back in the studio, hard at work on their next proper release, a follow-up to 2011′s Battleground.
“Well, you know, it’s going to be a new leaf for us because we’ve compiled all our three years of stuff into the EP, so now it’s a new, fresh start for us,” Jay McGuiness explained to MTV News. “The singles we started writing and recording, so far, we’re excited about. But it’s still gonna be parties for the Wanted. I think it’s gonna be a few surprises too.”
Those surprises could come in the form of some cameos on the in-the-works record. Siva Kaneswaran added, “[It] could be collabs or it could be rapping. There’s not gonna be any rapping; I’m just kidding. But it is surprising for ourselves, too, because we are just going to try and be daring and try and step it up a bit, so hopefully the fans will like it.”
While rapping won’t make the final cut, the guys have teased that they’d love to get Justin Bieber or Chris Brown on board for the album. “We talked about it, and we have a song that we think he’d sound great on,” McGuiness teased about working with Bieber.
“We’ve talked to Chris Brown as well, which would be really good,” Kaneswaran revealed. “We talked to Chris actually at ‘The Voice,’ and he said he was down as well.”
“We have got a song we think would be perfect,” Max George added.
The bottom line is, the guys said, is they want to make good music that defies their boy-band label. “We went out there and we’re like, ‘You know what? I think we can change people’s perspectives of the ’90s boy bands,’ ” Parker explained. “And that was our aim: just to make good music.”

Capital Online Revenue Introduces Innovate Business Education Techniques
As an alternative to more traditional methods of learning about business and commerce, Capital Online Revenue introduces a new “earn and learn” training program.
Though business colleges remain in great supply, more and more Americans are turning to alternative sources of training and education, particularly during these days of economic upset and uncertainty. The simple truth is that with layoffs so prevalent and incomes so unsteady, investing in a full-time business education simply isn’t a viable option for many entrepreneurs. Instead, they are looking to business training modules that allow for on-the-job training, providing a way to master the tools of the trade even while making a profit. Capital Online Revenue continues to spearhead this movement with the introduction of its new “earn-and-learn” business training techniques.
Different from both traditional business education courses and even other online endeavors, Capital Online Revenue is a service that extends to customers a wealth of resources for learning about online business. What makes Capital Online Revenue services unique, however, is the fact that its training techniques are implemented in real-time. In other words, customers are both learning about online business and establishing their own online business both at the same time.
Though the notion of a make-money-online opportunity is hardly new, the methods being introduced by Capital Online Revenue are unlike anything yet devised by its competitors. What makes this service different is the emphasis it places on its training aspects. Though the long-term goal is for customers to establish their own online business, this comes hand-in-hand with an array of training resources and materials that include not only tutorial videos, but also a unique training component that includes one-on-one coaching from a team of live experts. Capital Online Revenue extends these services through a variety of media, including online chat, e-mail, and phone.
Capital Online Revenue introduction of these features has already met with enthusiasm from its current customer base. The service continues to define its niche, appealing to retirees, stay-at-home-parents, and working professionals who simply lack the time or resources necessary to attend more conventional business classes.
